A flesh-eating drug that turns people into zombie-like creatures seems to have made its way to the United States.

As DATIA reported last week, the FMCSA announced a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to establish the Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, a database under the Agency’s administration that will contain controlled substances and alcohol test result information for the holders of commercial driver’s licenses.

Smart Approaches to Marijuana, or Project SAM, a campaign to keep marijuana illegal and address the failings of the drug war through other means, formed last January and is launching its new posture for 2014.
